Swimming Pool Heating

Using our knowledge and expertise in heat pumps, we have extended our heat pump offering to include swimming pool heat pumps. This technology offers our clients the most cost-effective solution to heating their swimming pool so that they can be enjoyed all-year round.

In looking for strategic and reliable partners, we partnered with a South African based company called ITS, who have proved to be very reliable and cost-competitive. They have a full range of custom made heat pumps that range from as small as 7.5kwh all the way up to 65kw units. Using the swimming pool dimensions and characteristics, we will work on sizing a best suited configuration of het pumps to heat the swimming pool to the desired temperature. 

Like with our heat pump hot water technology, Heliocol solar pool heating collectors are used to either supplement your ITS swimming pool heat pumps, or alternatively even act as the only heat source for heating your pool. It therefore acts as the most cost effective and environmentally friendly way of heating your pool, but will unfortunately not guarantee your pool is always heated as it depends on the sun shining.

How it works:
 

• A typical solar pool heating system is integrated directly into your existing pool plumbing.

• The existing pool filter pump, pumps water from the pool through the solar pool heating panel.

• The sun-warmed water then flows back into your pool, heating it to your desired temperature.
